Think. Fruit.
Think. Fruit. is a concept for a public health campaign aimed at children within the ages of 7 - 11. The campaign aims to promote fruit as a healthy and tasty snack alternative to items such as chocolate, crisps, and biscuits. The project was inspired by fruit stickers and the wide variety of designs which can be found when purchasing fruit from a supermarket.
The concept combines the collecting and swapping element of trading cards and football stickers with imagery of fun fruit characters. In a way, a small reward to encourage kids to ask for and try more fruit as a snack over other unhealthy options. Stickers would be awarded when purchasing select fruit from supermarkets and schools, with the sticker reflecting the variety of fruit purchased. When 10 stickers are collected they can be sent off on the sticker sheet to be entered into a prize draw.

While the stickers can be used to collect and trade, they can also be sent off on the stickers sheets to be entered into a prize draw. Some of the prizes available would also appeal to parents, for example, a family adventure holiday. This is to encourage parents to purchase more fruit and healthy snacks for their children. The sticker sheets come in a few colour variations so that families with multiple children can easily identify who’s collection is who’s.
Emoji stickers would be available as unlockable content for the Messenger Kids app. This is to appeal to those who are not interested in the collecting physical stickers aspect of the campaign, but also to encourage kids to try more varieties of fruit, with the hope they will discover their new favourite snack. Each sticker would have a unique one-use code on the back which would unlock an emoji specific to the variety of fruit they have purchased. With 12 different emojis available, kids would need to try 12 varieties of fruit to collect them all.
