More Than Just A-Z

During my Master’s research, I explored ways in which design can enable different options of experiencing exhibition content. This research culminated in a book concept entitled More than just A–Z. The book's narrative explores the stories, design and history behind glyph systems, as well as Unicode, the codespace that enables universal communication through our interaction with these glyphs. Observing that exhibitions often follow a chapter-like structure, the primary aim of the project was to explore and map the physical experiences of an exhibition into a book-like format. Elements such as coded section texts, physical space and dimension were tapped into with each page in the file representing a text, object, or "wall graphic".

Various printing techniques were utilised to create the ‘artwork’ of the exhibition book. This provided a physical contrast to the section texts and infographics, and also allowed me to explore more traditional methods of print.
